Dear Stallion Owner,
The
Gunalda &
Districts Western Performance Club Inc. wish to invite you to
participate in
their 2010 Half Price Stallion Service Sale. We
have many
incentives that are not only for the purchasers of your stallions
service, but
by listing your Stallion,
all resultant
progeny from the 2010 breeding season will qualify for our Futurities
at our
high profile show in August— the ‘Queensland All Breeds Western
Performance
State Show’. Our
2009 Half Price Stallion Service
Sale was a great success, which went towards making the '2009 Qld All
Breeds
Western Performance State Show ' the success that it was. We ran the
show over 3
days in 2009 for the first time, which proved to be very popular with
competitors. We will be once again running the 2010 show over 3 days
and have
already booked an International Judge for this show. We
expect that 2010 will be equally as
successful or more so, than last year, so I hope that you will consider
donating a service to your stallion, to help us achieve this goal. To
repay your generosity, we are offering
to you, the following incentives: 1. Any/All
Progeny of the nominated Stallion will be eligible to enter the 2012
Stallion
Service Sale Yearling Halter Futurity at our State Show, free of
charge,
regardless of ownership, whether the
service is sold or not. 2. The
Stallion Service
Sale Yearling Halter Futurity carries prize money of $400
plus a Perpetual Trophy (hand made from locally grown timber
and sporting a gilded horseshoe) plus a $200
cash prize for the winning Sires’ Owner and guaranteed prize money for
all
placegetters. 3. Any/All
progeny of the nominated Stallion will be eligible to enter the 2014,
2015
& 2016 ‘Junior
Horse Sires Progeny
Futurities’ at our State Show, free of charge, regardless of ownership,
whether the service is sold or not. 4. We
take your
generosity seriously. We
have launched a
website that is dedicated to the promotion of Nominated Stallions. Each Stallion is offered
one whole page,
owners are invited to supply up to 3 photographs and promotional
information
for their page. See
what we have to
offer at www.gdwpc.com 5. We
will endeavour to
promote your donated Stallion via publications of the Aust. Quarter
Horse Assoc.,
Western Horse Breeders Annual, Paint Horse Aust. Assoc., Horse Deals
Mag; and
our Club Newsletters. 6. Stallions
will be
promoted in our monthly newsletter, with a half A4 page each, dedicated
to the
promotion of individual stallions (on a first in first served basis).
Our
newsletter is distributed to all club members, like minded western
horse clubs
and is available for downloading from our website at http://gdwpc/form-page.html
7. Stallion
owners who
donate their stallion service will be offered free
advertising on our ‘For Sale’ page on the website & in
our monthly newsletter. 8. Stallion
owners who
donate will be eligible to promote their Stallion via a Special
Stallion Parade
at our 2010 State Show. Stallions
will
be presented to the Western Horse Public; details of donated Stallions
unable
to attend will also be announced. All donated Stallions will be
promoted
throughout the entirety of our show plus at our club shows throughout
the year. 9. Owners
of Stallions
with closed books may purchase their own service, which thus nominates
their
Stallion’s progeny for subsequent Futurities. 10. Any/All
progeny 2yrs & over of Nominated Sires, conceived during their
nominated
year/s are eligible for the Sires Halter Classic.
This class carries a genuine Silver Halter to
the first placegetter and prize money to all placegetters. Each
Service
Purchaser will receive a Contract & Stallion Information sheet. Negotiations to breed then
take place between
the two parties. Mares
must be in good condition
and are subject to the Stallion Owners
approval. Please
download the contract for donation to the 2010 Half Price
Stallion Service Sale here.
Should you be kind enough to donate your Stallion’s service, please
complete
this contract and return to the Stallion Coordinator. This
will enable us to give your Stallion and Stud maximum exposure. As
we wish to
commence this promotion as soon as possible, an early response would be
appreciated.
Yours Sincerely, Chris Perrin Stallion Co Ordinator
